Meet the breeder
I'm Bobbie Terry, the breeder behind Write Breed Doxies located in Hollis, OK. We adore Dachshunds. Our dogs have enriched our lives in ways we never imagined, and we are so happy to be able to share the wonderful qualities of the breed with others. Owning a Dachshund is a beautiful experience, and it would be our honor to connect you with the perfect new addition to your family.

Why did you start breeding?
Growing up we raised the occasional litter of puppies, usually from strays we took in or were given to us pregnant. I've always had Dachshunds and began breeding them about 15 years ago when I had a hard time finding dachshund puppies. I began breeding AKC registered Dachshunds around 10 years ago.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are part of the family. We treat them like our children in many ways. We work with our litters on puppy pad training beginning at 3 to 4 weeks old. We take pride in producing healthy, well socialized puppies. We work hard to produce pups that are a little calmer and quieter than typical Dachshunds.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include chocolate, fawn (isabella) and cream, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home. Each adult dog has their own person. They sleep in their person's room, have their puppies in their room if female, and get lots of daily one on one atttention in addition to spending time with all the other dogs in my program.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Bobbie partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“After initial contact and applications I invite them to schedule a video call. During this call we discuss the litter, the parents, and I answer any questions. During this time the Buyer is getting to see puppies and parents interact. They are sent a puppy contract & invited to put down a deposit on the puppy of their choice to hold it.
Price
Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $2,000, before taxes. All payments include sales tax except for fees that are charged for services like delivery.

“Price includes current vaccinations, deworming, socialization, completed puppy health contract, vet check,and some training. Puppies come with FULL prepaid AKC preregistration and a puppy care kit. Deposits are transferable, but non refundable. AFTER visiting either in person or by video call a deposit will reserve your choice of available puppy.
Contract & health guarantee
I provide a written contract with health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both of us you as a puppy buyer and me as a breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
